Getting Started: Set Up Your Shop in 5 Minutes
A complete walkthrough from signing up to sharing your shop link with customers.
destin.bio lets you create a fully functional online shop in minutes — no coding, no technical knowledge needed. This guide walks you through every step from sign-up to your first sale.
Step 1 — Create Your Account
- 1Click "Get Started" on the homepage or go to /auth/signup.
- 2Enter your email address and create a strong password.
- 3Check your inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link.
- 4Once verified, you'll be taken to the onboarding wizard automatically.
Use a business email if you have one — it looks more professional and keeps your personal and business communications separate.
Step 2 — Complete Your Shop Profile
The onboarding wizard collects the key information your shop needs:
- Shop username — this becomes your shop URL (e.g. destin.bio/yourname). Choose something short and memorable.
- Display name — the name customers will see on your storefront.
- Bio / tagline — a short sentence describing what you sell.
- Profile photo — your logo or a professional photo.
- WhatsApp number — optional, used for order notifications.
- Pickup address — where Shiprocket will collect packages from.
- Bank account details — for payouts after successful orders.
Your username cannot be changed after it is set. Think carefully — it forms your permanent shop URL.
Step 3 — Add Your First Product
- 1Go to Dashboard → Products → Add Product.
- 2Fill in the product name, description, and price.
- 3Upload at least one high-quality product photo (the first photo is your main listing image).
- 4Set the stock quantity. When stock reaches 0, the product is automatically deactivated.
- 5Click Save. Your product is now live on your storefront.
Step 4 — Share Your Shop Link
Your shop is now live at destin.bio/yourusername. Share this link anywhere your audience is:
- Instagram bio — paste the link directly in your profile bio.
- Instagram stories — use the link sticker to direct viewers to your shop.
- WhatsApp status and broadcasts.
- Facebook page, YouTube description, or any other social channel.
Add 3 Instagram Reels (via Dashboard → Reels) to showcase your products in action. Video-backed products tend to convert significantly better.
Step 5 — You're Live 🎉
Customers can now browse your products, place orders online or via Cash on Delivery, and track their shipments automatically. You'll receive notifications via WhatsApp and email for every new order.
