Managing Your Shop Settings

How to update your profile, bank details, GST information, and pickup/return addresses.

Your shop settings control how your storefront looks, where payouts go, and where packages are picked up from. Here's how to update each section.

Where to Find Settings

Go to Dashboard → Settings. The page is divided into four sections: Profile, Bank Details, GST Information, and Addresses.

Profile Settings

Your profile is what buyers see on your storefront.

  • Display Name — the name shown at the top of your shop page.
  • Bio — a short description of your shop (up to a few sentences).
  • Tagline — a one-liner that appears below your name.
  • Profile Photo — your shop logo or photo. Click the photo to upload a new one.
  1. 1Click "Edit" next to the Profile section.
  2. 2Make your changes.
  3. 3Click "Save" to apply.
💡

Your username (shop URL) cannot be changed after onboarding. If you absolutely need a different username, contact support.

Bank Details

This is the bank account where your order payouts are sent.

  • Account Number — your bank account number.
  • IFSC Code — the branch-specific code for NEFT/RTGS transfers.
  • Account Holder Name — must match the name on the bank account.
⚠️

Double-check your bank details carefully. Incorrect details can delay payouts. Changes take effect for future payouts only — any payouts already in progress go to the previous account.

GST Information

If you're GST-registered, enter your details here so invoices are generated correctly.

  • GSTIN — your 15-digit GST Identification Number.
  • Legal Business Name — the registered business name tied to your GSTIN.
  • Seller State — your state of registration (affects CGST/SGST vs IGST calculation).
  • Business Type — Proprietorship, Partnership, Company, etc.

If you're not GST-registered yet, you can leave this section blank. You can add it later when you cross the ₹20 lakh turnover threshold.

Pickup & Return Addresses

These addresses are synced with Shiprocket for order logistics.

  • Pickup Address — where the courier comes to collect packages. Must be accurate for smooth pickups.
  • Return Address — where returned items are sent back to. Defaults to your pickup address if not set separately.

After saving an address, it's automatically synced to Shiprocket. You'll see one of three statuses:

StatusMeaning
SyncedAddress is live in Shiprocket — orders can be shipped
PendingSync is in progress — usually completes within a few seconds
FailedSync failed — save it again or contact support. Orders can still be created but pickup scheduling may be affected.
💡

If your address sync shows "Failed", try saving the address again. If it persists, the Shiprocket service may be temporarily unavailable — wait a few minutes and retry.
